The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) is no longer solely a nexus of finance; it has firmly cemented itself as one of the world’s most concentrated Michelin-grade dining districts.
This season, the spotlight shifts to intimate counter dining. At the newly launched 12-seat Ombra, Chef Julian Renaud pairs dry-aged seafood with Japanese binchotan charcoal techniques, finished with citrus caviar harvested from Fujairah farms.
Complementing the gastronomy is a focus on sustainable sourcing. Over 40% of herbs, edible blossoms, and specialty microgreens featured across DIFC’s tasting menus are now cultivated in local vertical farms in Dubai Industrial City.
